I’m a product design leader with over two decades of experience building systems that connect creativity, commerce, and community.
My work spans from enterprise and B2B tools to platform monetization and growth systems — designing at the intersection of craft, data, and business impact. I’ve led design initiatives across companies like Roblox, Twitter, and Facebook, where I’ve helped shape how creators, advertisers, and teams succeed through intuitive, scalable experiences.
I’m most at home solving complex problems through clarity and collaboration — bringing together PMs, engineers, and data scientists to design products that scale with purpose. Beyond the work, I care deeply about mentoring designers and strengthening design culture within cross-functional teams.
My principles
Clarity comes first.
Great design does the thinking for the user — solving problems through visuals, interactions, and intent. When people understand what to do and why, they trust the product.
Design aligns teams.
Inside a company, design’s role is to bring clarity and alignment around what problem we’re solving and how we’ll solve it.
Design is how it works.
It’s not about decoration or one-offs; it’s about systems that connect, scale, and endure. When we get that right, everything else follows.
My approach
I approach design as both a craft and a system. Every project starts with clarity — aligning on the real problem before defining the solution. I spend as much time understanding goals, constraints, and user motivations as I do sketching or prototyping.
From there, I partner closely with PMs, engineers, and research/data scientists to explore solutions that balance user value, business outcomes, and technical feasibility. I lean on experimentation, data, and collaboration to shape direction — validating ideas early and often.
I believe the best design feels inevitable. When complex systems appear simple, when products anticipate intent, and when the experience just makes sense — that’s when design quietly succeeds.
Ultimately, my goal is to make creativity scalable — crafting systems that empower teams, elevate creators, and build trust across every interaction.
Beyond the work
I’ve called San Francisco home since 2001, though I’ll always be a Seattle native at heart. I love traveling, raising my daughter, and supporting the Filipino community when I can.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me mountain biking, drawing, playing guitar, or exploring San Francisco’s neighborhoods — one restaurant at a time.
