Mix Master Mike
DESCRIPTION:

I was lucky enough to work with and design a website for the legendary scratch DJ, Mix Master Mike. After convincing the client that a flash website was not needed, I concentrated on the initial concept of a side-scrolling website. I created the IA and visual design of the entire website. My good friend, Adam Chromicz, developed the site using jquery, ajax, php and “magic”.

Fox Sports
DESCRIPTION:

A major player in the sports broadcast arena, Fox Sports needed to improve their online presence for their national and regional online brands. I was part of the creative team at the
Code And Theory SF office that created many, many rounds of visual design directions. The new look website was developed by Fox’s internal team and successfully launched in December of 09.

Hip Hop DX
DESCRIPTION:

Hip Hop DX is one of the internet’s oldest and most popular sites for all things of the hip hop culture. I worked as part of the creative team at
Code And Theory SF to come up with a new look for their website. I contributed in the initial visual design stage but my sole duty was to design all the subsequent pages, working closely with the client to get his vision of the website pixel perfect.

InDecision 2008
DESCRIPTION:

InDecision 08 was an e-card builder created for Comedy Central while working at
Code And Theory. The application allowed users to create, share, and print their own cards. I created the Information Architecture and initial design direction that lived on the Comedy Central website during the 2008 Presidential Election.

MobiTV
DESCRIPTION:

MobiTV is a company that provides television for your handheld device.
Code And Theory was/is hired to create interactive experiences that would span across multiple platforms.
As a creative team member at Code And Theory’s SF Office, I designed interfaces and demos to present to the client.

Avastin
DESCRIPTION:

Think beyond the tumor…
Eveo Inc. created an interactive presentation for Genentech’s pharmaceutical drug Avastin.
This presentation was targeted for doctors and sales persons in the medical field and helped educate them about the cancer fighting drug. The project included flash video that triggered flash animation to sync with the interactive presenation.

Keystone Light
DESCRIPTION:

Always Smooth…
I was hired by
Trinity Inc. to help with the redesign of Keystone Light. I created visual solutions for the box packaging and can design. The clients eventually chose one of my design directions and was later tweaked during the revision rounds. The full designs can be seen at your local grocery store or at

Copeland Entertainment
DESCRIPTION:

The people at the Mix Master Mike/Beastie Boys camp contacted me to create a website for a new artist management & booking agency that features some of the biggest scratch DJs in hip hop music. I created the logo, website, and teaser video to appeal for the hip hop audience, as well as the corporate music audience.

Opticlash 2
DESCRIPTION:

Jacob at
Punch-Drunk Productions asked me to create some visuals for his event called
Opticlash, a VJ competition sponsored by the Seattle International Film Festival. The event places dueling VJs in a head to head battle, something that is popular in the European dance scene, but is just emerging here in the States.

Fuzzy Lounge Recordings
DESCRIPTION:

Fuzzy Lounge Recordings is a music collective/label that caters to the music culture with the objective of gaining recognition for the artists and distributing their music.
They also provide a mobile DJ service to the businesses in the Pacific Northwest, creating the audio backdrop to corporate events.

Natural Progression DJ Agency
DESCRIPTION:

Natural Progression is a boutique Seattle-based DJ Agency that provides international DJ talent to the North American dance music market. Some of their client list include DJ’s Jody Wisternoff, Reid Speed, and the Flash Brothers.

Zima
DESCRIPTION:

Zomething Different…
Zima, the popular clear malt beverage from the early 90’s has reinvented itself and needed a refreshing new packaging design for its new flavors.
As part of the creative team at
Trinity, Inc of Berkeley, CA, the objective was to redefine the entire look of the brand without losing touch with its core consumer base.

Punch Drunk Productions | KMFDM
DESCRIPTION:

Punch Drunk Productions asked me to create a logo animation for them and the band KMFDM to appear on the band’s 20th anniversary DVD.

Wild 94.9fm
DESCRIPTION:

An HTML email piece for WiLD 94.9fm, a bay area hip hop radio station, that was sent out via
COG1 email database. A fun little project that used video and animation to entice users to sign up to win tickets for clubs and concerts.

DESCRIPTION:

Bigger, Faster, More. _root// is a conceptual motion graphics video about the effects of technology on our society and culture. Using archived footage as well as original video and photos, I used a cut and paste method along with an original soundtrack to create a frantic montage to help illustrate the concept about the perils of technology.

DESCRIPTION:

A motion graphics animation describing seven traits of a personal paradigm. The animation is synced with the audio track that I created and helps tell the brief story of seven things that I find important in this journey of life. and it gives the viewers some eye candy.

Element Seattle
DESCRIPTION:

I worked as the in-house designer for club Element, one of Seattle’s top spots for electronic music from 2004 – 2007. I was in charge of creating and maintaining all promotional material. This included flyers, posters, email newsletters, print advertising, website design and maintenance.
